GRIZFOLK JOINS BASTILLE ON FIRST LEG OF NORTH AMERICAN TOUR
Grizfolk has been handpicked by alternative rock chart-toppers Bastille to open on the October dates of its fall North American tour. The run kicks off on October 7 at Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, PA and includes a two-night stand at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall – October 9, which is sold out, and October 10 – plus a concert at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago (October 21). The band will also support Bastille on the tour’s final two nights – November 20 at Los Angeles’ Shrine Expo Hall and November 21 at the Fox Theater in Pomona, CA. Grizfolk is getting revved up for the extensive outing with a fresh round of college dates. The cross-country run has already taken the band to the USC School of Music, Dartmouth and Carnegie Mellon and will feature a variety of opening acts along the way, including Misterwives, Oh Honey and RDGLDGRN.

NJ ZOMBIE WALK
This weekend’s 7th annual New Jersey Zombie Walk takes on a great matter – Grey Matter, that is – with their current focus on spreading awareness of brain cancer. Last year, the Zombie Walk gathered roughly 9,500 zombies, reclaiming the Guinness World Record, and this year the walk aims to gather even more zombies while raising awareness for a good cause. Liam McAlary aka Bronte is a singer songwriter from Sydney. He emphasises the importance of lyrics and the ability to tell a story. In 2014 Bronte released his debut EP ‘The Bitter Sea’ and received airplay on various community radio stations in Australia.
