Tachyons+ is a video glitch synth designing team that modifies vintage video gear to create new ways of crafting visual productions for video artists around the world.
The Gary Numan ‘I Am Dust’ video was made using a Tachyons+ video glitch synth effected live via HI-8 camera and a CRT television captured by a modern digital camera. No computer post production was used in the making of this video.

MIKAEL JORGENSEN “SOYBOT” STREAM
The Cheetah is a meticulously crafted album of brave, atmospheric instrumental music from Mikael Jorgensen and collaborators Chris Girard and Greg O’Keeffe, now newly reissued on Butterscotch Records.
Jorgensen recorded these twelve songs between 2001 and 2003 at SOMA Electronic Music Studios in Chicago, the studio owned by John McEntire of Tortoise where Jorgensen worked when he first hooked up with Wilco. Gears soon shifted for Jorgensen as he went on to record and then join Wilco, and The Cheetah was set aside for some time before its first release in 2009.

North West London duo iLL BLU announce today that they have signed to Island Records and their first single will be ‘Blu Magic’ Ft Max Marshall impacting 5th May 2014.
iLL BLU AKA Darius and James can trace their credentials to being one of top producers that emerged in 2008’s UK Underground music scene. That year they created Princess Nyah’s ‘Frontline’ together at their home studio, recording vocals in the bathroom. It was one of the key songs of the Underground movement driven by DJs like Marcus Nasty at Rinse FM, Pioneer and Cameo. Like most UK Underground tracks, it mixed a ghetto outlook with the sensuality of the female vocal, the Carnival Dem bow rhythm and the garage and tribal house production energy.

How to be Topp’s first songs were written while singer/guitarist Yona Prochnik was a student in Montreal. Utilizing a 12-string acoustic Gibson from the 1960’s and self-taught alternate tunings, these early songs pushed the sonic possibilities of acoustic folk-pop. After moving back to Brooklyn, Yona teamed up with Elan Fraser (organ and keyboards) whose catchy riffs and swelling chords gave the songs a vintage tone reminiscent of The Band and Neil Young.
