Pick You Up was written when G2 was resentful as hell about an ex girlfriend leaving him for no apparent reason. Somehow, the rage that was coming out of him turned into this dirty dirty sex song. The kind that makes music out of make up sex after one of those awful fights, where you allegedly kiss and make up, but some of the lingering hostilities come out when things get a little more intimate. And that’s what Pick You Up is all about. Something sultry with an edge.
