On June 4, MPress Records will release the truth is, the latest album from acclaimed singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Melissa Ferrick. Recorded live with a full band and produced by Ferrick, mixed by Grammy Award winner Trina Shoemaker (Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow) and engineered by Rafi Sofer (James Taylor, Juliana Hatfield), the album marks a creative departure for Ferrick in its collaborative approach and an evolution in the sound she has developed over the course of her expansive career and catalog. Ferrick and her band will debut much of the new material this week at SXSW, and a U.S. tour will follow in support of the album’s release.
