YELAWOLF KICKS OFF MAJOR WORLD TOUR

You didn’t think a little ruptured spleen would keep rapper Yelawolf out of action for long did you?   Just a bit over a month after the March 2nd emergency that required his hospitalization and the cancellation of a few shows, a completely healthy and fully energized Yelawolf is back on the road, launching a world tour spanning the U.S and Europe, and running through Saturday, June 9, from clubs to festivals, theaters to the Cotton Bowl. Yelawolf addressed the injury and also thanked fans for their support on the recently released “Thank You” freestyle which can be heard on http://shadyrecords.com.

Yelawolf’s debut major label album, Radioactive (Ghet-O Vision Entertainment/Shady Records/DGC/Interscope), was released in November and shot into the Top 10 on both the Rap and R&B charts (Top 20 on the U.K. R&B chart as well).   Honored by XXL magazine as one of the top 10 albums of the year, Radioactive hit the Top 30 of Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart.
