One of rock’s top true living legends, Alice Cooper, has invited one of rock’s top young bands, Venrez, to open a string of tour dates in June. The eight-date Venrez/Alice trek begins on June 11th in Charleston, South Carolina, and will conclude on June 22nd in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Comprised of singer Steven Berez (whose last syllables of his first and last name serve as the group’s nom de plum), guitarists Jason Womack and Alex Kane, bassist Michael Bradford, and drummer Ed Davis, the Los Angeles-based group recently issued their debut full-length, ‘Sell the Lie,’ via Monarch Music Group, LLC (distributed through Megaforce/RED/Sony) on February 28th, 2012, and are fresh off a month’s worth of dates opening for Fuel.
