Musician Charlie Dane, who has been making a name for herself in various entertainment circles for the past few years with her unique songwriting and impressive vocal and guitar chops, has released her debut record, “Dreamland” – available now on her website as well as on iTunes and the other major music download services.
“I have been working on this album since I was 10 years old” Charlie said, “so, to finally have the record finished and available to the masses is very exciting. Making music and sharing it with people is my favorite thing in the world to do!”
2012 has been a banner year so far for this “little girl with a big voice”; earlier this week Charlie was chosen as one of the seven youth artist Finalists aged 13 to 20 from across the country who contributed original songs to the non-profit PAVE the Way Project which raises awareness of dating violence alongside their peers www.pavethewayproject.com The winning artist will perform in a recording of a new song written by GRAMMY ® Award winner Salvador Santana, collaborating alongside his father, 10-time GRAMMY ® Award winner, Carlos Santana.
