Roc Nation’s “gangsta-rocker” Hugo, will release his highly-anticipated debut album Old Tyme Religion on May 10th. To coincide with the launch of the album, Hugo will perform on The Late Show with David Letterman. The British-born, Thailand-raised rocker will be on tour this Spring for a headline tour beginning April 11th and then joining Augustana and The Maine on tour kicking-off May 12th in Dallas, TX.
Having gained recognition after a song he wrote ended up on Beyonce’s latest album, Hugo was contacted by Roc Nation to be part of the newly formed label. As a tip of the hat to Roc Nation’s founder, Hugo put a country-fried twist on the classic “99 Problems” discovering an unforeseen link between pop, rock and hip-hop.
