VEIO Release Official Music Video for ”Janus”!
Portland based Heavy Alternative Rock band VEIO has released the official music video for their newest single, “Janus.” The single was produced by Stephan Hawkes (Chelsea Grin, Attila, I Declare War) at Interlace Audio in Portland. “Janus” is a fresh sound for the band and the next evolution in VEIO’S unique sonic alchemy.

Burbank, CA based multi-instrumentalist, sound-designer / supervisor / composer, singer-songwriter, and President of TFK Studios LISLE ENGLE has released his poignant and timely official music video for “Medicine Man,” the title track off of his recently released album. Featuring crunchy bass and rhythm guitar by ENGLE alongside soaring guitar riffs by Bill Angarola and Pete Sjostedt from Muck and the Mires, plus high energy vocal performances by Angarola, Kristen Kohary, and Paul Grubb, “Medicine Man” is a seamless melding of Alternative Pop Rock post-modernism and old-school guitar rock intensity, evoking a superficially unlikely but satisfying union of Peter Gabriel, The Black Crows, and Cheap Trick.
SMOTHER: US Black Metal Collective Debuts “Chapter IV – Tying Thy Noose of Rusted Chain” Featuring Members of BLACK VICE, CROWN OF ASTERIA, etc.
Mixed and mastered by frequent label conspirator Bradley Tiffin (Haunter), Chapter IV – Tying Thy Noose of Rusted Chain is a 41-minute track that sees SMOTHER at its most disturbing. Dropping the neo-folk influences for wailing noise and ambiance, Tying Thy Noose of Rusted Chain maintains the Cascadian black metal trio is more than just a side project of its creators. The album features cover photography by Katie Metcalfe (Cave Mouth). Like previous chapters, the recording begins with the base foundation of a drum track, with collaborators adding elements to the passage to bring the fullness of instrumentation into a finished product.

TAEYEON RELEASES NEW SINGLE “CAN’T CONTROL MYSELF”
The new song “Can’t Control Myself” is a pop-punk ballad with lyrics penned by TAEYEON herself, capturing the emotions of a tumultuous romance. The music video features film-like aesthetics by combining cinematic composition and directing set against the backdrop of a theatrical stage. TAEYEON’s acting and her ability to convey the emotions of a character hurt by love further adds a sense of immersion. “Can’t Control Myself” is the first release from her upcoming third full-length album, coming February 2022. Death Metal Duo HELLBORE Release New Song
Death metal duo HELLBORE have released their new single “Necrocracy” via Ghost Cult Magazine. The song is from their upcoming album Panopticon which will be released on March 18 2022.
Panopticon is the sophomore album from HELLBORE, the death metal outfit striding both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. The new record marks an evolution in their sound expanding their scope from thrash infused death, now embracing a variety of modern death metal subgenres including technical death metal, progressive death metal, and deathcore.

About 4 years and a half after the release of its debut EP ‘Fullfilment’ (2017), French rock/post-rock/metal fusion five-piece Matrass just unveiled a brand new single + official music video called “The Tide”, available on 4K through YouTube and digital on the main legal platforms (Apple Music, Spotify, etc.).
This new song will featured on the band’s sophomore EP, ‘Inner Wars’, to be digitally released on February 18th wth the help of La Tangente Label.

Speaking about the new offering, he said, “Be Somebody is a song about me having a conversation with my teenage self. At the time it was written, I was 24 years old living in my parents house and musical directing bar mitzvahs. I’m pretty sure I texted my mom to get more cereal before walking into the session to write it, lol. I made this with Ryan Linvill and Noah Conrad and the intro to the song is a clip used from a snoring app that recorded me sleep talking to my wife.”
