British singer-songwriter Aluna returns today with her new single “Forget About Me,” a collaboration with Diplo and Italian producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist Durante, offering fans a taste of what’s to come from Aluna in 2022. The track was co-written with fellow British artist Kelli-Leigh, who Aluna connected with last year over their shared work pushing for better representation and crediting of Black women in the industry, and co-produced by Aluna, Diplo and Durante.

Crafted with the dance floor in mind, ‘Over’ fuses euphoric synth soundscapes, pulsing trance basslines and electro-pop melodies. The track is a club anthem which showcases Camden’s dynamic vocal range, undeniable writing talent and meteoric potential.

“I wrote ‘bad friend’ when I moved to Nashville after college,” says corook. It was the first time since college that I moved to a city without knowing anyone. The song is a reflection of my struggle to maintain friendships throughout the different phases of my life. Writing it with my girlfriend allowed me to tap into the vulnerability and insecurity that comes with that struggle.”
