Alt-Metal/Hard Rock Band BULLET TO THE HEART Premiere Official Music Video for New Single “Decay”!
Alt-Metal/Hard Rock band Bullet to the Heart premiered the official music video for their new single “Decay”! The single is off of their forthcoming album Transcendence due out November 19, 2021.
“Decay talks about wanting to be with someone on a deeper level but finding it difficult to truly open up. With both sides not willing to commit there is a final push in the chorus to show that, no matter who you are in the world, everyone is facing something deep within themselves. We are all the same. We are all connected as one” says Audrey Queen.
L.A. GUNS’ NEW ALBUM “CHECKERED PAST” OUT NOW!
Written and recorded during late 2020 and early 2021, “Checkered Past” sees Tracii Guns, Phil Lewis, and company continuing with the darker lyrical tone of the preceding studio albums, “The Devil You Know” and “The Missing Peace”, while incorporating their classic rock influences into the mix. Heavier songs are mixed with bluesier, boogie inducing tracks and dark, introspective ballads, often harkening back to the first three albums the band made, but also pushing the band forward. When fans absorb the album as a whole, they’ll see that the tracklisting is divided up into ‘sets’ or ‘suites’, where a sonic style is explored across multiple songs before moving on to the next, making for a remarkable listening experience.
FOSTERMOTHER: watch prophetic “Hedonist” video!
Originally a solo project Travis Weatherred, quickly joined by bassist Stephen Griffin, FOSTERMOTHER made an impression within the stoner and doom scene with their self-titled debut album, “hitting both soft and hard in all the right places, leaving oddly-comforting destruction in its wake” (Everything Is Noise). Now a three-head hydra with the addition of drummer Jason Motamedi, the band signed to Californian heavy rock powerhouse Ripple Music for the release of its follow-up ‘The Ocean”. This massive-sounding 7-tracker cranks it up on all levels: it’s darker, harsher, slower, fuzzier, more rumbling than ever, and uncompromising in its ability to drag any listener into the darkest alleys of the human soul.

Punk Legends Dayglo Abortions Release “Smart Food” Track!
Murray adds – This is song #4 from the soon to be released dayglo abortions album “Hate Speech”. It is more along the lines of the irreverent humour that I am generally known for than the previous three songs have been, but as I am wanton to do, there is a tiny morsel of relevance woven into the second verse. I should also note that, Blind Marc was visiting his family on the day we recorded this one so our friend Rob Lawless played drums on the beds thinking Blarc would replace the drum tracks when he got back. Blind Marc being the way he is, listened to the beds with Rob on drums and said “hey, he’s already played them and it sounds good, might as well leave them”. So just as easy as that, Rob gets the meagre thrill of playing drums on a dayglo album. I hope this song is as entertaining for you to listen to as it was for us to record it, because to be honest, this one was not that easy to play.

Over the past eight years she’s showcased her talents as a multi-instrumentalist through four varied solo efforts, and in July of 2021 she released her most haunting, ominous unaccompanied album yet with Phantasiai. Weaving layered textures into drifting filmic compositions, the album conjures dreamlike, ambient hymns while channeling ethereal melancholy.
