Divided Heaven “Burn Me” Premiere
Over the last year, Divided Heaven has kept busy by releasing various singles bridging the gap between multiple genres. After a recent move back to the East Coast, Divided Heaven is officially part of the A-F Records roster and will be releasing their label debut on February 4th, 2022. Oblivion is the fourth full length by Divided Heaven and truly encapsulates the versatility in songwriting that Jeff Berman is capable of. “I landed at the geographic musical midpoint of my heart: directly between (Carole King’s) Tapestry and (Motley Crue’s) Shout At The Devil. Odd as that may sound, that helped guide my attempt to combine sensibility with attitude and helped me shift from Americana to overdrive rock.”

Speaking on the forthcoming EP, Tamera explains, “Afrodite stems from the word “Aphrodite” who is the Goddess of love, beauty, pleasure and passion in Greek mythology. It’s such a fitting title as my project was born from passion, love and female/goddess energy it’s also a subtle nod to my Greek heritage. I used the spelling “Afrodite” instead of the original spelling because I’m also an African woman and predominant sonics of the project are heavily influenced by African culture. The mix of the two create a perfect blend of passion, vulnerability, fearlessness, sass, brutal honesty and vim.”
