Zeds Dead Unleash “Alive Remix EP”
In June, Zeds Dead and MKLA dropped their summer single – Alive – a stirring house anthem that also serves as the first single from Zeds Dead forthcoming album. Having released the official music video last week, Zeds Dead has today unveiled a remix package of the single; including brand new remixes from the likes of 12th Planet, One True God, Dirt Monkey, Tisoki, Bensley, Wenzday and Suray Sertin.

Multifaceted Electro-Folk Singer-Songwriter Portair Shares “Lost In The Dark”
Today, alternative singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, graphic designer/artist, and producer Portair shares the official video for his retrospective new single, “Lost In The Dark.” The video features him wandering the abandoned halls of a cathedral while contemplating his religious upbringing.
He explains, “This song is written particularly about my childhood and my youth. I was raised in a very conservative and religious household, views I do not share now. It was written in a time where I felt so frustrated that I now have to learn and deal with things like depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and all the difficulties that come with that, from an upbringing that I had no control over. It is about my anger towards a lack of education in mental health and a cult-like teaching to live in fear or you will go to hell. It’s about feeling lost in the dark.”

Producer and all-around music fanatic DJ Alkemy stays active being one half of Applied Science & Wasp-18b, one-third of Mise en Garde, member of Fire Team Alpha, and part of the Mean Business Records family. His latest self produced single Stank FT. Fire Team Alpha is a follow up to their Ambrosia posse cut which was played numerous times on DJ Premier’s “Live From HeadQCouterz” radio show. “The theme is funk. The stank. That face you pull when the beat KNOCKS. It just so happens that the release date is near Halloween. That totally fits in with the vibe of the track as G-Spot, who did the cuts, added a Vincent Price vocal into the mix” says Alkemy.
