Cemetery Sun unleash fiery new single & video “IDNUA”
Today, California based trio Cemetery Sun shared their dynamic new single and video “IDNUA”. The song will appear on their upcoming album ASCENSION, out October 8th on Velocity Records. “IDNUA” fuses the bands pop-punk and active rock leanings with lush electronics and radio-friendly production. The soaring vocal performance is perfectly supported by layers of guitars and a catchy, high octane beat that drives the song forward into a hard hitting chorus. The lyrics explore the dynamics of letting go of a toxic relationship and the painful process of self realization, a theme that is prevalent throughout the upcoming album.

To that end, the band selected the album’s title due to its suggestion of an unlikely hope. “Dandelions are weeds, but depending on your perspective, you can shrug them off or you can choose to see them as a sort of beautiful flower, similarly to how we have the choice in what we see in ourselves,” says Sartino.

This seems to be the general operating M.O. for corporations when commissioning freelance artists and it prevents the artist from building a portfolio which would help lead them to bigger commissions. We decided to use Fiverr but in our outreach asked each animator for photos, bios and links to their work and told them we want to collectively publicize who they were.”
