Today singer, writer, and rapper Dessa has released the swaggering new single “Terry Gross.” Produced by Andy Thompson, Lazerbeak, and Paper Tiger (of Doomtree), this is the fourth installment of her IDES single series — the project sees Dessa dropping new music on the 15th of each month.
Caliban Releases New Track And Video “nICHts” (NSFW) Off ‘Zeitgeister’
“Who am I, where do I belong? Disorientation, hopelessness, fear, helplessness – the feeling of depression, feelings that can have multiple reasons. It’s feelings that many of us can relate to, especially these days and during the ongoing pandemic. ‘nICHts’ is dealing with these really dark places that are reflected by our protagonist who is dreaming about taking his own life.” What is really important to the band though: “Suicide is not a solution. If you feel like you are getting lost in these feelings, there are people ready to help you,” states CALIBAN singer Andy Dörner about the track and music video.

NATHAN DAY SELF DESTRUCTS IN “FADE LIKE YOU”
Alt-rock-pop artist Nathan Day (formerly Natan Day) releases the trippy, artistic video for “Fade Like You” which he describes as “a literal version of wearing your heart on your sleeve.” Uplifted by sweeping synths, warm distortion, and a skyscraping chorus, the song details “the moment you meet someone, and you’re both fucked, basically. But there’s beauty because you match each other.” Incorporating alternative and electronic influences, the singer-songwriter faces his mental health and morbid feelings head-on by turning them into characters and costumes in his self-directed, other-worldly visuals.

Today, Gabe Dixon has announced his new album Lay It On Me will release on June 25.
