His His Shares Dreamy Track “Matador”
His His is the project of Toronto-based artist Aidan Belo. Combining delicate guitar lines with simple yet thoughtful vocals, Belo created this project as an outlet after relocating to his family’s hobby farm outside of the city, in an attempt to evoke something rural and honest. Most easily defined by the Portuguese word saudade, a feeling of longing and melancholy, “Matador,” the debut single from His His, captures the mood that Belo felt in the barn where he recorded it one afternoon: feelings of melancholy, relative passivity, and low-spiritedness.

Billy Gilman Celebrates 20 Years of ‘One Voice’
Billy Gilman has sold over 5 million albums and became a recognized voice in country music in 2000, at the age of 11, when he released his debut single “One Voice,” on Epic Records (Sony Nashville). The song shot onto the Billboard Top 40 charts making Billy the youngest artist to ever have a top 40 single on the country chart and ultimately reaching top 20 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

Comments vocalist “Dirty” Dave Johnson, “I asked the guys if we could record something special this year to give away for free. So, we quickly recorded some punk rock and metal favorites with a dash of GLASSPACK flavor at DeadBird Recording Studios in Louisville. As a punk rock kid in Louisville, I fell in love with these songs immediately and still carry them with me as an adult. I never outgrew them, or maybe I just didn’t grow up. It doesn’t matter. I will likely sing some of them ’til I am ashes. This is the first actual studio recording THE GLASSPACK has released for many years. It is also the first GLASSPACK record of which I do not play guitar. I only did the vocals.

“I was a fan of Wen Zi before the film shooting of ‘Back To The Wharf’, therefore I delegated the producer to express my will of cooperation. In his last soundtrack of film ‘A First Farewell’, I’m impressed by the depth and the width of the music, the power of mobilizing deep emotion of the frames. To my surprise, our country has such a talented soundtrack composer who is very sensitive to modern life but so pure and low-key in person. I think audiences have received this soundtrack already, I’d like to put a pause to my compliments of this collaboration, instead, letting audiences feel it when watching the film with knowing nothing. Her directorial debut, the video was shot by Hayley and her partner Rory and makes innovative use of shadows captured on the wall of her living room. Speaking about the video Hayley says:
“All the footage was shot by my partner Rory, Jimi at the label and myself. I pieced it all together to fit the track sonically.. I really like the shadows I managed to capture on my living room wall, they feel like visual audio. I plan to do more of this and take more artistic control of the whole package as imagery is very important to me while writing music… I feel it goes hand in hand.”
DIRTY RATS Rock Their Way Out Of The Spit And Sawdust With ‘End In Tears’
