DAMM – How the music video ‘Silence’ became a very personal story
We are proud to present the new video for the single “Silence” by DAMM which was released on 24.07.2020. The video clip ‘Silence’ is about trying to stay in the moment, withdrawing from the world or a certain situations for a matter of time. To find inner silence within yourself and to listen to your deepest feelings.
To quote DAMM on her inspiration behind ‘Silence’: “Whilst being in lockdown the noise stopped and made place for an overwhelming silence. I had to capture the feeling of withdrawing myself from the world in a new track, which would remind me of staying true to myself.”

Directed by Rob Norris and featuring friends and fans from around the world expressing thanks to loved ones who have been shown up for them, “On My Way” includes cameos from song co-writer and global superstar Ed Sheeran, three-time GRAMMY award-winner Darius Rucker and actress Lucy Hale.
“It’s not strictly about suicide, but that’s what we had in mind,” Crouse shared with Rolling Stone. “People hitting low points and letting those thoughts get the best of them. People get this weird perception that musicians, actors, athletes…they all have it together and life is perfect. But one thing everyone shares in common is we all get down.”
Be Well share raw and heartfelt “Magic” ahead of new album
Fronted by prolific record producer Brian McTernan (Turnstile, Thrice, Hot Water Music), Be Well marks McTernan’s unexpected, but welcomed return to the other side of the glass. The band also includes guitarists Mike Schleibaum (Darkest Hour) and Peter Tsouras (Fairweather), bassist Aaron Dalbec (Bane), and drummer Shane Johnson (Fairweather).

YATRA: Decibel Magazine Premieres Title Track From All Is Lost
Maryland-based doom metal trio YATRA will release their crushing third album, All Is Lost, this October through Grimoire Records. The first single from the album comes by way of the opening title track, now playing exclusively at Decibel Magazine.

Take This to Heart Records will be releasing the sophomore LP from Barely Civil, I’ll Figure This Out, on September 4th. The record was produced by Chris Teti (TWIABP, Fiddlehead), mastered by Dan Coutant (Lemuria, Weatherbox), and follows 2018’s debut album We Can Live Here Forever. The band has shared “The Worst Part of December” with chorus.fm today via a video that showcases the track’s fragile and frigid sense of isolation.
Carlie Hanson Releases New Track “Good Enough”
Rising alt-pop star Carlie Hanson is back with a sincere new track in “Good Enough.” The 20-year-old opens up about one of the darkest periods of her life and the process of coming out on the other side. The song is filled with passion and emotion which seeps through every lyric sung. With upbeat production from Mitch Allan and Anthony Jones, “Good Enough” comes shortly after her last release, “Stealing All My Friends” which tackled another challenging topic – drug abuse.

Lunchbox’s Tim Brown and Donna McKean have been making records in their Oakland, California basement for two decades, inspired by 1960s/70s AM-radio pop and TV show theme music, punk, C86, and mod à la The Creation and The Jam. From the sonically-inventive indiepop of The Magic of Sound (1999) to the dub-influenced psychedelia of Evolver (2001) to the critically-acclaimed bubblegum of Lunchbox Loves You (2013), the couple have established a sound all their own.
