Of the track, twst says: “I wrote the song after spending time in the jungle in Calais, and the whole experience was such a culture shock; coming back into a very surveilled western system after being in Europe’s biggest refugee camp. After that, everything about London felt orchestrated and self-centered, like the Truman show. It really stirred up a sense of paranoia within me, which ended up being one of the main themes of the lyrics. And it poses the question – ‘are we right in feeling paranoid in such a heavily surveilled existence?'”

TaP Music Publishing announce today that they are launching legal action against Trax Records alongside artists Larry Heard (professionally known as “Mr Fingers”) and Robert Owens. The case, filed 23rd June 2020 to the United States District court for the Northern District of Illinois highlights exploitation of the artists and their works, including unpaid royalties. This action seeks to vindicate Heard and Owens’ rights in various musical compositions and sound recordings that they created in the 1980s.

French producers and brothers Supernaive are releasing their debut album Nekomata. Recorded between Paris and Tokyo, the record features elements of electronica and RnB akin to the esoteric stylings Jamie xx or Mount Kimbie.
The brothers nod to French Touch while drawing on Japanese cultural reference points, most obviously in the masks they wear which are a symbol of eternal youth in Japanese Noh theatre.
