Country Westerns sign to Fat Possum for debut album, share tour dates
Even if you don’t know their names, you likely know their work. Drummer Brian Kotzur starred in Harmony Korine’s film Trash Humpers and was a member of Silver Jews. Singer, guitarist, and songwriter Joseph Plunket led Brooklyn legends The Weight, with a bass-playing side-hustle for Atlanta’s Gentleman Jesse. Plunket relocated to Nashville ten years ago and opened a bar. It was there, in a town teeming with solo artists and hired guns, that the two bonded over their shared desire to be in an actual band.

Musical duo, Tori Deal and Jordan Wisely, of MTV fame, released the lyric video for new single “Love is Cruel” today.
“Love is Cruel” is a raw, reflective, and sonically contemporary ode to the most complicated of emotions. It was co-written and produced by the production duo The Elemeno Pea (consisting of Rob Shore and Jessie Shapiro), who are coming off of the success of Disney Channel’s SHOOK, and Kyle Brady who wrote the new single “Easy Love” for Blair St. Clair of RuPaul’s DragRace.

Beloved Australian funk lords Ocean Alley have revealed the reflective new video for their latest single ‘Tombstone’, launching them into the new decade with style.
Shot on Super 8 film by long-time collaborators The Sauce, the video chronicles standout moments from the 12-month journey of Ocean Alley’s breakthrough year. The band explained, “The last 12 months on the road around the world has been incredible. We thought a four minute wrap of our time seeing new and familiar places and faces was the perfect accompaniment for ‘Tombstone'”.
