Corb Lund To Release “Cover Your Tracks” September 13th
Corb Lund is set to release Cover Your Tracks on September 13th via New West Records. The 8-song EP is a collection of unexpected cover songs previously recorded by AC/DC, Nancy Sinatra, Billy Joel, Marty Robbins, Bob Dylan, The Eagles, Willie Nelson & Ray Charles, and Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show. It was produced by Lund and John Evans, and features guest appearances from the critically acclaimed singer songwriter Hayes Carll and Canadian Western music legend Ian Tyson alongside Lund’s band The Hurtin Albertans: Kurt Ciesla, Grant Siemens, and Brady Valgardson.

Formed in the wake of Type O Negative and Seventh Void, Silvertomb is the latest musical endeavor of Kenny Hickey (Type O Negative, Seventh Void), Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative, Danzig) and Hank Hell (Seventh Void, Inhuman). This time teaming up with New York Hardcore Veteran Joseph James (Agnostic Front, Inhuman) and Aaron Joos (Awaken The Shadow, Empyreon), combining musical styles such as Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath into a bone crushing, mind blowing, sonic journey into the underbelly of human emotion.

The new standard bearer for melodic southern rap, Rod Wave bares his soul on every track. On his new track, “Fly,” Rod showcases his versatile and silky smooth singing voice, which switches from angelic falsetto to ferocious growls to reflect the emotional trauma and turbulence of his lyrics. Skating atop Drum Dummie’s piano-led production, Rod stresses the importance of keeping a positive attitude through trials and tribulations: “Through all of the issues and all of the pain/I’ll find happiness again.” In the video, Rod shows scenes from his recent headlining tour, performing for fans who excitedly shout his lyrics back at him. “Fly” is the St. Petersburg, FL rapper’s first new song since PTSD, his recent mixtape.
Anna Vogelzang Releases New Song “Icarus”
Los Angeles singer-songwriter Anna Vogelzang has released the second single, “Icarus,” from her upcoming new album Beacon, due out October 4th, 2019 and available to pre-order now. L’Orange & Jeremiah Jae Reunite For New Album + Free Single
Nearly four years since their last collaboration, producer-rapper duo L’Orange and Jeremiah Jae have revealed a new album, Complicate Your Life With Violence, out October 4th on Mello Music Group. The new record is a continuation of their 2015 concept album The Night Took Us In Like Family, which followed a 1940’s mob boss who let his guard down and was framed for murder. Today, they’ve revealed the first look and listen with “Dead Battery.”
Los Angeles based, Nick Valensi fronted five-piece CRX return today with the release of their video for “Get Close.” The new song comes as the band gearup for their sophomore album release, Peek which is out on August 23. The Kansas Bowling-directed music video [premiered on FLAUNT] was shot in New Orleans and inspired by 1970’s Jean Rollin vampire films.
Belle Mt. Releases New Video “Origins”, Featuring Animation By Mustashrik Mahbub
London-based songwriter Belle Mt. has released a new video for his recent single “Origins.” Featuring hand-drawn animation, the video evolves from what at first glance appears to be an unassuming experimental sketch into an expansive and emotional cosmic narrative. The song was written in the wake of a rush hour car crash in Atlanta that Belle Mt. was involved in, and his subsequent reflections on life, love, mortality and loss. The video was produced by the visual artist Mustashrik Mahbub, who recently produced animation visuals for Ed Sheeran’s live show and directed Elvis Costello’s video for “Suspect My Tears.”
