London-based artist Alysha explores the intersection of faith and alternative music on her latest single, ‘Take It or Leave It’, a dark fusion of goth, new-wave and electronic influences. Co-produced with Matt Rist, the track pairs shadowy synths with a nocturnal atmosphere, challenging conventional expectations of Christian music through a distinctly alternative sound.

A Cuban-Indian musician raised in London, Alysha draws on an eclectic range of influences, from Beyoncé and Lauryn Hill to Siouxsie & The Banshees and gospel. Since releasing her debut single, ‘David Attenborough’, at 16, she has developed an increasingly adventurous sound, earning more than 3 million Spotify streams and performing at festivals including Wild Paths and Forwards.
With ‘Take It or Leave It’, Alysha continues to push beyond genre boundaries, bringing her spirituality into darker electronic territory. Fresh of supporting LANY across four stadium dates in Japan and South Korea, this single marks another step in the evolution of an artist unafraid to challenge expectations.
