Every artist has a first chapter, and for AMBER that chapter arrives in the shape of Just a Daydream, a five-track EP built around imagination, relationships and personal growth.
Based in London, the singer-songwriter drew on real experiences while allowing her imagination to shape where each song eventually landed. That approach gives the project a cinematic quality, with moments that feel intimate without becoming overly literal. Rather than presenting diary entries, AMBER turns emotions into stories that invite listeners to interpret them in their own way.
The EP came together in collaboration with producer Kipper Eldridge, including sessions in Bali that became part of the creative journey. Together they built a sound that moves comfortably between soul, jazz, funk, vintage pop and orchestral textures, giving each song its own character while maintaining a consistent mood.
The tracklist reflects different stages of love and self-discovery. “St Tropez” opens with optimism, “Say What” brings wit and rhythmic energy, while “Aromatherapy” closes on a more reflective note. Each song contributes another piece to the wider picture rather than competing for attention on its own.
For a debut, Just a Daydream offers more than an introduction. It presents the foundations of an artist who values storytelling, collaboration and emotional honesty, providing an encouraging glimpse of where AMBER’s journey could lead next.
