Cork-based singer, songwriter, and pianist Linasik is quickly establishing himself as one of Ireland’s most exciting emerging young voices. At just 16 years old, the Irish-Slovak artist has independently released 2 albums and over 50 songs — an extraordinary output that reflects both his dedication to his craft and his natural gift for emotionally honest songwriting.
Having played piano for over 8 years and written songs for over 5, Linasik brings a rare technical foundation to his music. A graduate of the Royal Irish Academy of Music’s grade exams to the highest standard and level, his classical training sits beneath a sound that is anything but traditional. Blending melancholic piano with electropop production, his music draws influence from Ariana Grande, Olivia Rodrigo and Madison Beer — intimate enough to make you cry, anthemic enough to make you believe things will be okay.

His latest single First Date is a vivid pop song that follows the story of a boy who goes to extraordinary lengths to impress the girl he loves — showering her with gifts and taking her on a series of dates in pursuit of the perfect romantic moment. The track is accompanied by a full music video that brings the story to life with stunning visuals and intricate detail.
“I don’t make music for the money or for the fame,” Linasik says. “I make music for the people that want to be heard. I truly believe I was sent to this earth to make people feel happy and fulfilled through my music.”
Born in Spain and raised in Cork with Slovakian heritage, Linasik is an artist shaped by multiple cultures and driven by one purpose — to connect with people through music that feels real.
First Date is out now on all streaming platforms.
