Award Winning Composer Randy Edelman Unveils a Song of Peace “Birds of Freedom” 7/12/24

“We look forward to the time when the ‘Power of Love’ will replace the ‘Love of Power’….William Ewart Gladstone

World-renowned, award-winning composer, lyricist, soundtrack architect and pianist Randy Edelman will be releasing his song of peace to the world on Friday July 12, 2024 via Tribeca Records (a SohoJohnny Enterprise). The song is beautifully titled “Birds of Freedom.” The unveiling of this global gift is an overture to a new full- length EP “Waltzing On A High Wire” to be released on September 6th,  2024. It is also a prelude to his Carnegie Hall debut this coming December 8th, 2024.

Music is the maestro’s external heartbeat and forever his destination. “Birds of Freedom” sees the tiny friends of the feather as a river of the airwaves, their flowing music hydrates a parched soul. The message crusades for love as the seed that grows to form an infinite forest of peace in these days of slow burning war waged against humanity. Peace will come when we learn that to give is to receive and that love will always show the way. Freedom is only freedom for all when the world has come to live through love.

The Music of “Birds of Freedom” is so fluent in emotion and seeks to communicate the truth of being human. The music tugs at your heartstrings. It is medicine in a divine way. It’s the pyrotechnics in the velvet dark, the blaze that dares to light up the night in a dazzling display of colors. The song will be available worldwide on all digital platforms. The album “Waltzing on a High Wire” will be on all platforms as well and as a rare vinyl edition.

Randy will be honored on October 27th, 2024 and will perform live on the stage of The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. This December 8th, 2024 @ 7:30 he will be performing live on the Zankel Hall Stage of Carnegie Hall in New York City. Tickets are now available to purchase starting at $45.00 and are accessible at CarnegieCharge (212-247-7800), Carnegiehall.org or at the Box Office on 57th Street and Seventh Avenue.
