TRISTIA, debut EP, ‘This Is NOT A Hopeful Beginning’

Indie pop singer-songwriter, TRISTIA, just released her debut EP, This Is NOT A Hopeful Beginning. She often writes music that is based upon her personal experiences with familial abuse, toxic friendships, and growing up in a trailer park– but she often uses horror metaphors and language to portray these topics.

Despite the fact that she makes very personal ballad-like music, she dresses up as a clown when she performs. Being a clown and a musician mean so much to her– it’s about being fat, queer, neurodivergent– anything that society doesn’t deem as beautiful or acceptable, and finding the beauty in it. Currently she is attending Berklee College of Music in Boston as she works on more music. Listen to her EP anywhere music is streamed or sold!
