Tigercub share new video for “Show Me My Maker”
Today, Brighton, UK-based rock ‘n’ roll trio Tigercub have released a video for “Show Me My Maker” from their new album The Perfume Of Decay via Loosegroove Records, the label co-founded by Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard, a long-time champion of the band.
Careful’s first EP after almost a decade without releasing any new music, “Promise / Practice” is a meditation on loss. A parent loses a child to gun violence, an abuser loses their partner to their own cruelty and ignorance, people young and old process their sudden or eventual deaths. The songs are sometimes disarmingly bare, honest, and personal, sometimes playful, indirect or abstract, but always rooted in the fragility of our bodies and our relationships.
The Sleeping return with emotive new single “No Light”
After a 17-year hiatus from creating together, the original lineup of The Sleeping – Douglas Robinson (vocals), Joe Zizzo (drums), Sal Mignano (bass), and Cameron Keym (guitar/keys) – have returned with their upcoming album, I Feel Like I’m Becoming a Ghost, out August 18th. “When we were working on the roll out for this record, we had other music video concepts in mind but ultimately decided that the best way to share these songs would be to play them live and try and capture the feeling, energy and spirit of the music,” said Jeremie Albino. “Once we knew we were doing a live performance short film, we knew we had to find the perfect location. We were searching for a couple of weeks before I remembered that we had always wanted to shoot something at the Owl’s Club in Toronto. It just had all the character we needed in a location with the space to shoot multiple songs live off the floor.”

JONI MITCHELL AT NEWPORT Featuring The Joni Jam
Joni Mitchell stunned the Newport Folk Festival audience last summer when she gave a surprise performance – her first in 20 years – delivering a heartfelt set filled with some of her greatest songs.
Mitchell’s triumphant return to the stage on July 24, 2022, will be featured on a new live album from Rhino, AT NEWPORT, available on July 28, 2023 on CD and 2-LP black vinyl. Produced by close collaborator Brandi Carlile, along with Mitchell, the music will also be released the same day on digital and streaming services and Dolby Atmos. A clear-vinyl version of the 2-LP set will be available exclusively from Indie Retail and Barnes & Noble.
