INHERUS Release “Lie To The Angels” Lyric Video

Post-Metal/Heavy rock act INHERUS have just released a lyric video for their song “Lie To The Angels”. The song is from their album Beholden, which is out on May 26th, 2023 via Hypnotic Dirge Records.

The band comments: “‘Lie to the Angels’ is a song about betrayal in its basest form, how it affects identity. Its perception is a lifelong human struggle that we’ve amplified into larger than life lore. To “lie to the angels” means to betray not just in deed but in self. Facing that within and around ourselves is an experience no one likes to have, but it does build a kind of strength or second sight. One that drives you toward a world you inhabit somehow in your own light.”

Rayne Storm is back with his new single “Let It Fly” featuring Strange Music’s own Krizz Kaliko. The melodic track serves as the second single off his upcoming album “Audiocity II”. The production by Wyshmaster creates a riding bassline as the background for this introspective weed anthem. Krizz delivers with his classic midwest flow while Rayne brings it with a bouncy verse about getting away from the stress of daily life, in between puffs of smoke.

Noel reflects, “All the dreams I had as a youth were underneath council skies.” The track opens an introspective and personal commentary on Noel’s most formative years, and the wider themes of the forthcoming album. Mexican American Bedroom Pop Artist HARMLESS Shares “As I Lay Chillin”

Tomorrow, gold-selling artist Harmless will share his first new single, “As I Lay Chillin,” since his 2022 EP, Mr. Baby. The project is the brainchild of Los Angeles-based, Mexico City-born songwriter/producer Nacho Cano. He wrote the track in his small office-turned-home studio in Silverlake while reconciling with how his life has changed after he was almost killed by a drunk driver in a hit and run accident. The track was produced by Yves Rothman at Sunset Sound.

On “How High”, Shordie Shordie delivers an emotional vocal performance packed with imaginative melodies over the track’s soulful production. He reflects on his candid desire to kick back and smoke with his latest love interest before the relationship eventually sours once the acrimonious nature is later revealed on the project’s first single, “Thug Life”. “How High” serves as another taste of what’s to come on his highly conceptual new mixtape, A Life For Two, which is loosely based on a real-life love affair in the semblance of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Including features from Octavian and 03 Greedo, A Life For Two is set to release on April 28th.

The single, which reunites Vic with long time friends and collaborators Chance The Rapper and G-Eazy, is a braggadocious banger in which the three MCs trade increasingly elaborate boasts about their respective successes. “$WISH came from a writing camp me & Chance did in LA working on a bunch of music together,” states Vic, “it was really just a fun, spontaneous vibe. Me & Bongo were freestyling and then Chance said he had a line so I just recorded him putting his verse together. G-Eazy is one of my best friends in the industry and someone I’ve known for probably 12 years, so it just all made sense.” The single follows the release of January’s “Strawberry Louis Vuitton (feat. Thundercat and Maeta),” a soulful love jam that was accompanied by an awe-inspiring music video in which Mensa performed the song while skydiving in a custom recreation of a Virgil Abloh suit.
