Lucky Daye shares new video for “Over” starring Jordyn Woods

Lucky Daye returns with a powerful new song today, entitled “Over”, featuring a familiar sample from Musiq Soulchild’s “Halfcrazy” released via Keep Cool/ RCA Records. The single is the first offering since the Table For Two EP that arrived earlier this year and comes paired with a highly stylized visual directed by Machine Operated, co-starring Jordyn Woods as Lucky’s love interest. With his signature velvety vocals, Lucky Daye details a torrid love affair atop a luxurious, string-driven instrumental, describing it as “nightmares turn into a dream.” The video features Lucky dealing with the constraints of celebrity culture and a constant loop of pressure and loneliness until he realizes that he must first take care of his relationship with the object of his affection before he can launch himself into the wider world and change it.

Swae Lee & Jhené Aiko Release Video for “In The Dark” from Shang-Chi, The Album

As Marvel’s newest blockbuster film, “Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings,” continues to capture the cinematic world, platinum selling hitmaker Swae Lee and R&B icon Jhené Aiko have released the official music video for “In The Dark.” The song appears both in the film and on the official soundtrack to the film titled Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings: The Album. The video captures scenes of ‘prom night’ following a group of friends getting ready, taking obligatory photos, riding in limos and ultimately ending the night at their local Asian grocers for a post-dance snack. Hardcore punk band Scowl share new single and video “Bloodhound”

Today, Santa Cruz-based hardcore punk band Scowl has released a pummeling new single and video “Bloodhound”. The song will be featured on their upcoming LP How Flowers Grow, out November 19th on Flatspot Records. Clocking in at just over 90 seconds, “Bloodhound” is a breakneck exploration of punk sensibility with a vicious, angular edge. The band hurtles through the performance while remaining in complete control of the chaos, perfectly supporting the fiery vocal performance from lead singer Kat.
