New Signing Dreamers Delight Shares “Carbon”
Today, Krafft shares “Carbon,” the first single from an upcoming EP (details TBA). The new project will combine his love of visual art and music when he releases a series of “visualizers” to accompany each track. Listeners can satiate their cravings for escape with AV journeys to colorful forests, mountains, riverbeds, and other awe-inspiring landscapes, each presided over by unique spirit animals. Speaking to EDM.com, Krafft says, “this EP has been a work in progress for over a year, and it’s incredibly humbling to release the first song and visual from the EP finally. ‘Carbon’ is a journey through the psychedelic oasis of the desert, where you’ll find all sorts of magic along the ride. I’m so excited to be able to share my dreams with the world, and I hope that everyone can feel the power of this journey.”
HARRY CONNICK JR RELEASES NEW ALBUM ALONE WITH MY FAITH
Today, Grammy and Emmy Award winning singer and multi-instrumentalist Harry Connick Jr releases his new album ALONE WITH MY FAITH via Universal Music’s Verve and Capitol CMG – available everywhere now. With the pandemic casting a long shadow in 2020, Connick retreated to his home studio during the lockdown and emerged with an album of new music. He arranged all of the songs, played every instrument, and sang every part. In addition to the familiar, traditional songs, Connick wrote and recorded new tracks that tell the story of his experience coping during lockdown and feeling the full spectrum of emotions that came with it.
Centripetal Force is excited to announce the release of Cerulean, the first full length recording from the Nashville Ambient Ensemble. The album is being presented in a 300 copy vinyl pressing, 100 of which will be on transparent blue vinyl and made available for preorder on February 29th. There will also be a limited CD run made available for preorder on the same date. Cerulean will be released in stores and on all major digital platforms on March 19th.

SMOKE & MIRRORS release video for “Terror In The Shape Of Suns”
When the world stopped last March, one studio duo refused to slow down. Jeramie Kling (VENOM INC, INHUMAN CONDITION, THE ABSENCE) and Taylor Nordberg (INHUMAN CONDITION, THE ABSENCE), who own and operate Smoke & Mirrors Productions in Spring Hill, Florida, decided to embark on a “one song in one day” challenge, where they would wake up, write a song, record it, mix it, release it, all in one day. They wrote in a different sub-genre of metal each day, and to complete the album, enlisted some members of KREATOR, HEATHEN, SOILWORK, VENOM INC, MUTOID MAN, ENTRAILS, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA, ARSIS, ENFORCER, WARBRINGER, ALLEGAEON, ROSS THE BOSS, GRAVE, EXHUMED, and more. In addition to this list, the duo tapped Kling’s multi-talented wife Deidra Kling to write lyrics and perform vocals on a song called “Terror In The Shape Of Suns”, which was written as their doom-band NIL. The video, which can be viewed below, was directed and cut by Deidra Kling.
Following the success of her 2019 GRAMMY®-nominated album Norman Fucking Rockwell, Lana Del Rey today releases her highly anticipated seventh studio album, Chemtrails Over The Country Club. The album, which consists of 11 songs, is co-written by Lana and Jack Antonoff. I hadn’t done a live performance aspect in a Little Hurt video yet and I thought it could be a way to successfully convey some of the aggression I’ve felt surrounding this song.
Twenty-two-year-old hip hop artist Hulvey has teamed up with his Reach Records labelmate Andy Mineo for his new single “We Against the World” that dropped worldwide today. This is the third single Hulvey has released, gearing up for his full-length album debut titled Christopher, set to release April 9, 2021.
Astrachan Shares New Single + Video “Shorebirds” | Forthcoming Debut S/T Album Out 5/7
Today, Chicago-based artist Ben Atrachan, aka Astrachan, shares his vintage, indie-psych-folk inspired third single “Shorebirds” along with its charming self-directed video. Astrachan on “Shorebirds”: “The song started off as an experiment in trying to become a better drummer, then it turned into a single about west coast birds, old friends, and partners in crime.” The song follows the releases of his chamber pop single “Ladakh,” featured on NPR’s New Music Friday, and his folk-leaning second single “Scandal.”
The singer-songwriter looked inward to bring the stories within her to life. “Each song on this record brings its own character. Initially, I was concerned about the soundscape and the different motions, but I think we have created cohesiveness in the themes and each track ties to the next, presenting a ‘story-like’ result, similarly–but not as extravagantly–as Janelle Monáe’s The ArchAndroidand,” expresses Murray. Of her influences, the vocalist cites Alicia Keys, Moonchild, Robert Grasper and Phil Collins as inspirations when creating the intimate project.
