Kiazi Malonga Releases New Video “Tatamana”

West coast Congolese sensation Kiazi Malonga has just released new video “Tatamana.” The track features a more obscure drum called the Petengue, the lead drum Kiazi plays in the video, using his heel to change pitch. This is the second single from Kiazi’s forthcoming debut album, Tembo Kia Ngoma, set for release on March 5, 2021. The album pays tribute to Kiazi’s late parents, including world renowned ambassador of central African dance and Kiazi’s father, Malonga Casquelourd.


Award-winning, Tucson, Arizona-based acoustic duo Ryanhood has unveiled their fiery new single, “Appy Returns,” the second from their forthcoming album, Under The Leaves, set for release on April 16th. “Appy Returns” showcases the pair’s serious chops as they set their strings ablaze, paying tribute to the music cultivated in the Appalachian Mountains—with their own Arizona-style, heat-infused spin.

Built around a beat created by Pacific Beats, “Betty is a Lovechild” is a thumping, industrial-tinged track about lust, Hollywood and vampires.

Mat Kearney Drops New Single “Pontiac”

Mat Kearney has released another brand new single from his forthcoming LP January Flower today – listen to “Pontiac” now via your preferred listening service! Inspired by Bruce Hornsby, Mat’s band tracked the song live to the driving pop backbeat. “I had written the word Pontiac in my phone because I thought it was an interesting idea; a car company we had all heard of that was no longer around” Mat says. “It reminded me of those moments in life that are long gone but still drum up strong feelings of nostalgia. Flip phones, burned CDs and your dad telling you to drive slow seemed like the right way to say growing up is hard sometimes.”
