Benedict Sinister Coming In With all the alt-pop lofi feels

You could say it sounds like Damien Rice and/or James Blake, the epitome of “indie” with lofi vibes.

Benedict Sinister, in his own words: “Meditation, Tai Chi, herbal teas…. If you ever see me doing any of those activities, you’ll know I’ve burned out. Until then I’ll stick to my regime of work, drink, fine dining, partying, fucking, laughter and sleep deprivation.”

With welding mask into the new year – Hard rock band OIL releases video

Just in time for the New Year, the southern German hard rock/heavy metal band OIL causes a stir with a live video. With bare torsos, under rusty-oily stage lights, the power trio, which released their first concert film just last year on Amazon Prime Video, burns off virtuoso heavy metal fireworks of the finest – including pyrotechnics, of course. Impressive: a blind guitar solo by frontman Gert Endres, who puts on a welding mask for the solo. The video is part of the film recording for the online music festival “WeLive”, which was awarded the nationwide German Rock & Pop Award for its high film quality only in December. OIL was on stage at “WeLive” as a headliner. Due to the measures against the corona virus, the performance took place without an audience.

With his releases “Movin Ma Body” and the house classic “Finally”, the Swiss DJ / Producer in collaboration with ZYX Music made a name beyond the borders. Various remixes for Bootmasters, Visioneight & Jason Parker carry his unmistakable musical work.

RAP/HIPHOP Santa Sallet – Listen to “Fuck With Me” on Spotify:

Unified by a consistent flow and anecdotal lyrics, his self-produced mixtape “Plutography” is experimental and eclectic, blending salsa beats, southern trap, and eastern jazz with classic and conventional rap samples.

Ewigkeit’s new EP Depopulate will be released on January 23rd via Death To Music Productions. Today, you can get a taste with the new lyric video for the opening track Patent of Death. The EP was written & recorded during the lock-down period of the Covid19 Pandemic of 2019-to-20…

Timed to coincide with the global roll-out of the vaccine, Depopulate looks at the paranoia surrounding the virus, its social effects and the power wielded by the influential biotech industry. Unlike the recent 70’s rock-styled EP XXIII, the new EP Depopulate is a unique composite of melodic Death Metal and post-Covid19 conspiracy theories with blackened touches.

Skatta drops lyric video for ‘King Kong’

‘King Kong’ is the latest single from the Coventry artist’s recent Hardships EP, and whilst his delivery and flow are sounding fresh and fired up, the lyrical content emphasizes a progressive and uplifting message.

Skatta rightfully explains how defining success through object wealth is the easy route, and this path of greed is not the one for him, which is why he doesn’t want to glorify it in his music.

JOHN VENTO KICKS OFF 2021 WITH “TIMELESS” TUNE “NO ONE WEARS A WATCH ANYMORE”

Once again Vento collaborated with his good friend and artist, Frank Ferraro. Vento says, “I came across Frank’s lyrics quite accidently through an email exchange of some rough sketches that he was working on . The lyrics jumped off the page and I immediately asked for, and received permission to use Frank’s words for a potential new song. I wanted to record a more upbeat groove type of song for my new project (Brick by Brick), and the line (No One Wears A Watch Anymore) was just the perfect hook for such a composition. Once I brought my ideas to guitarists David Granati and Bob Zigerelli, things came together quickly. ”
