Aaron Nathans & Michael G. Ronstadt Will Blow You Away with ‘Shadow of the Cyclone’

Get ready for a musical duo that will knock your socks off with their third album titled ‘Shadow of the Cyclone’. Aaron Nathans is a guitarist/songwriter from Philadelphia and Michael G. Ronstadt is a cellist/songwriter based in Cincinnati. Together, these artists have created music that speaks volumes and offers much depth.

With 11 songs on ‘Shadow of the Cyclone’, each number seems to have its own identity and purpose. With elements of Americana & folk, these talented singer/songwriters are giving the audience plenty of variety. I like to think there is something for everyone on ‘Shadow of the Cyclone’, so check it out for yourself!

The album kicks off with a song called “Ghost Writer” that is a scary, good time while also offering deep sincerity. “Ghost Writer” is rich in substance and will be haunting your mind for days to come. Next up is “Strongman” that comes off like a thought-provoking, carnival-like vibe and is just toe-tapping fun. On track three, “Haunted House”, the listener will receive a spooky theme and upbeat melody that can be enjoyed by all. “I Go Low” supplies a Johnny Cash-esque tone vocally that I picked up on right away and thoroughly enjoyed this approach. Prepare for a fresh take on Sting’s hit song, “Englishman In New York” where Aaron Nathans & Michael G. Ronstadt give an original & superb performance overall. Time is ticking along at just the right speed on “Just One Minute” proving that this multi-dimensional duo is not wasting any precious moments. Track nine, “Sinner’s Bible”, hits you with pure & raw emotion that truly sinks in and grabs you. “Come On Sun” is packed full of pleasant-sounding audio that is sure to brighten up your day. The record ends on a high note with “Carry A Tune” where Aaron Nathans & Michael G. Ronstadt provide a magical melody that is wonderfully orchestrated.

‘Shadow of the Cyclone’ was just released on Oct. 01 and I highly recommend picking up a copy for your listening pleasure. Aaron Nathans & Michael G. Ronstadt are highly skilled players and singer/songwriters and the excellent material on this album is proof of that. I am anxious to hear more from this duo, but for now enjoy the flurry of wind-shattering sounds on ‘Shadow of the Cyclone’.
