Alt-rock group SONS OF SILVER Premiere “Deep Division” Lyric Video via Consequence of Sound
Los Angeles alternative rock group SONS OF SILVER–led by Peter Argyropoulos alongside original Pearl Jam drummer Dave Krusen, Candlebox bassist Adam Kury, Skillet guitarist Kevin Haaland and keyboardist and esteemed engineer Brina Kabler–have premiered the lyric video for their single “Deep Division” today, August 13. The track is featured on the band’s new EP DOOMSDAY NOISES which was released on July 26 via Universal Music Group/4L Entertainment.

Shira often finds inspiration in her daily life. “I was sitting on the subway one day and a super cute guy was sitting right across from me. He had his shades and headphones on and was reading a book, but in my mind, he was totally into me. I kept glancing over at him, waiting for him to look at me. Until he finally got up…. and got off the train. Didn’t even notice me. I thought to myself, ‘What if this was the person? What if that was the opportunity and we missed it?'” She explains, “By the time I got home, I had the full song, ‘Birds of a Feather,’ in my head. It was sort of like shouting into the ether- ‘Come find me! I’m here! Don’t let this pass us by!'”

The Collect Pond is the newest songwriting engine for Danny Moffat, who made his first record on a 4-track recorder in Bellingham, Washington at the age of 15. Through writing and performing, he continued his musical journey in New Zealand, Seattle, Portland (OR), New York City, and now Boston. He received positive reviews via national press in New Zealand and cracked college radio’s BFM top 10. While in New York, he was the guitarist on rapper Que Believe’s “Diamonds” and a touring guitarist for Brooklyn indie rockers It Was Romance. Moffat was a session musician for hip-hop/EDM producers Soca Rebel and Ray DaPlug at BMJ Studios. As an audio engineer, Moffat worked as an assistant recording engineer under former Passion Pit and Team Spirit member Ayad Al Adhamy at Diamond City Studios.

theLINE Unveil Video For “Metaphor For War” and Tease Upcoming EP
“It’s a song about perseverance and finding your place in the world, defeating the awkwardness of growing up which I think is something all young people struggle with, all over the world. It’s a battle cry for the underdog!! Life in social situations when your young can feel like war.
For the video, we were lucky enough to work with our longtime friends and artist Jamie Lynn and Scottie Daniels on the set design and our good friend Don Tyler directed the shoot.
The song is off our last EP titled “the Mass Debate”, which is essentially the flip side to our new EP which is coming out in October titled “Sour to Punker”.”

It’s a track that settles in your hips and is both danceable and something to put on in the bedroom. The collab between Olisae and Shaan on this piece will serve as an introduction to a radio-ready international sound from the pair.
