“Writing this record really forced me to take an honest look at where I came from, what my dreams and fear were, and who I was becoming as a result,” Cunningham says of Who Are You Now. The album was recorded at Sonic Ranch studio in El Paso with producer and multi-instrumentalist Tyler Chester, who has also worked with artists such as Jackson Browne, Blake Mills and Andrew Bird.

HAYDEN CALNIN SHARES NEW TRACK & VIDEO – “WE CAN TAKE OUR TIME”

Australian singer-songwriter and producer Hayden Calnin shared the second single, “We Can Take Our Time,” from his forthcoming EP, Soon Forever, out September 4th, 2020 via Nettwerk. The song is accompanied by an official D.I.Y video that was completed under quarantine, filmed and edited by Hayden himself and stars his younger sister Daisy Calnin dancing in the dawn light to the lush sonic landscape. Hayden explains, “We wanted to capture the feeling of first light and a new day beginning. We got up in the early hours and headed down to my favourite local spot to capture Daisy’s movement. There’s only really one moment to capture the right light, and we were lucky to be treated with such a beautiful sunrise. My sister Daisy and I have been collaborating with dance and music for a long time and it was so nice to capture a moment of that on film.”

NYC-based psych rockers, Lovechild, will donate proceeds from newly released single, “Hats Off” to NYCLU to combat racism and inequality

The New York City-based psych-rock trio, Lovechild, will donate the proceeds of their rock n’ roll anthem, “Hats Off,” to the New York Civil Liberties Union to join the fight against racial injustice and inequality.

The band recognizes their platform and aims to use it to create positive, meaningful change. “To create a better America,” frontman Leo Lovechild says, “we need to amplify, empower, and listen to Black voices, and donate to organizations that fight for equality.”
