Madison Cunningham debuts “Coming Back” via American Songwriter
“Writing this record really forced me to take an honest look at where I came from, what my dreams and fear were, and who I was becoming as a result,” Cunningham says of Who Are You Now. The album was recorded at Sonic Ranch studio in El Paso with producer and multi-instrumentalist Tyler Chester, who has also worked with artists such as Jackson Browne, Blake Mills and Andrew Bird.

The debut album of the band is named “Deep Breath” and has been recorded in Sound Emporium Studios, Nashville TN. It is co-produced, mixed and engineered by Toby Wright in November 2014 and is mastered by Andrew Mendelson. It was released in the Fall of 2015 by Pavement Entertainment.
HAYDEN CALNIN SHARES NEW TRACK & VIDEO – “WE CAN TAKE OUR TIME”
Australian singer-songwriter and producer Hayden Calnin shared the second single, “We Can Take Our Time,” from his forthcoming EP, Soon Forever, out September 4th, 2020 via Nettwerk. The song is accompanied by an official D.I.Y video that was completed under quarantine, filmed and edited by Hayden himself and stars his younger sister Daisy Calnin dancing in the dawn light to the lush sonic landscape. Hayden explains, “We wanted to capture the feeling of first light and a new day beginning. We got up in the early hours and headed down to my favourite local spot to capture Daisy’s movement. There’s only really one moment to capture the right light, and we were lucky to be treated with such a beautiful sunrise. My sister Daisy and I have been collaborating with dance and music for a long time and it was so nice to capture a moment of that on film.”

Latin Genre Bending Artist Alaina Castillo Releases “Pass You By” Video
“pass you by” is a track off her new EP the voicenotes. The 4-song project includes current single “just a boy,” that already has over 7 million Spotify streams and was created alongside her regular collaborator, Romans (Lewis Capaldi, Ella Mai, Demi Lovato, Khalid). The single marks her largest song to date. In addition to the EP, Alaina also released the Spanish version, mensajes de voz, reflecting the bilingual nature of her music.

On Sunday, June 28th, Justice Comes Alive—a brand new, one-day, donation-based virtual event—will unite the live music community to raise funds and awareness for organizations empowering Black communities, keeping people out of the criminal justice system, and working to dismantle the systemic racism which persists in our society. In partnership with the PLUS1 For Black Lives Fund, proceeds raised during the day-long event will directly benefit participating artists as well as organizations like Equal Justice Initiative, Impact Justice and The Bail Project, as well as Black and Indigenous-led grassroots organizations combating racism. Justice Comes Alive is also proud to partner with HeadCount to further encourage voter participation.

NYC-based psych rockers, Lovechild, will donate proceeds from newly released single, “Hats Off” to NYCLU to combat racism and inequality
The New York City-based psych-rock trio, Lovechild, will donate the proceeds of their rock n’ roll anthem, “Hats Off,” to the New York Civil Liberties Union to join the fight against racial injustice and inequality.
The band recognizes their platform and aims to use it to create positive, meaningful change. “To create a better America,” frontman Leo Lovechild says, “we need to amplify, empower, and listen to Black voices, and donate to organizations that fight for equality.”

Out now, “Pray For America” was recently the subject of an in depth interview and exclusive premiere via NPR’s Morning Edition. The Brummies return with inspiring track “Hillside” featured in ‘Dads’ documentary trailer
The Brummies, a rock trio based in Nashville, share the new song “Hillside,” as featured in the trailer for Dads, a film-festival favorite and actress Bryce Dallas Howard’s directorial debut. The upbeat, piano-driven song is the first new music from The Brummies since last summer’s “Alone With You.” The band made their debut in 2018 with the full-length album Eternal Reach, which received high praise from critics and featured Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves on the song “Drive Away.”
