NPR Music’s Stephen Thompson said, “When Clem Snide and special guest Scott Avett (who produced and performs on Clem Snide’s latest album, Forever Just Beyond) performed together in Avett’s barn, they added a few new features you’ve never gotten to hear at the Tiny Desk — most notably a noisy flock of birds and the unmistakable cries of a nearby rooster…Still, their voices blended warmly as they tackled three spiritually searching songs from the (great) new record, as well as an older track that fits Forever Just Beyond’s themes perfectly: ‘Jews for Jesus Blues,’ from Clem Snide’s 2005 album End of Love.”

““Bedsheets” feels like a diary entry to me. The song came together spontaneously at 1am during a night spent at the studio with AJ Healey this past December, hibernating as we worked on a full project to be released in the near future.

Danny De La Rosa Premieres Official Music Video For Single “It’s Alright Its OK” on V13.net
“This song is from the perspective of a straight laced moralistic guy that is hanging out with a girl that likes to party and raise hell. The guy is trying to change her to be his idea of normal and trying to push “maybe just wine on Sundays listening to Coldplay” instead of constantly drinking and embarrassing him. He ends up realizing he cant change her and he has to stop wasting his time. The album has an extended version of this song with a cool blues breakdown” says Danny De La Rosa.
