“’Unstable’ came to be, following a stormy night spent in a cabin on the east coast, where I was writing songs for the Mystic Truth album,” explains vocalist Christo Bowman. “Walking through the neighborhoods of Bridgehampton the next day, as the fog rolled in from the ocean, I got the sense that this would be the perfect locale for a murder mystery. I felt inspired to write a song from the perspective of a psychopath, so that’s exactly what I did.”
