Today Stone releases an empathetic new video for the track, filmed during the current period of self-quarantine. The clip juxtaposes footage of the empty cityscapes of New York City, Los Angeles, and Seattle with scenes of families and friends – and Stone and his bandmates – connecting over FaceTime. Grace Jones, a doctor at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, appears in a scene recorded in between shifts at the ER, and the video is dedicated to her and all other frontline workers fighting COVID-19.

Atwater Punx is the brainchild of family duo Stacy (American Hi-Fi, Letters to Cleo etc.) and Kristen Wagner Jones (Shut Up Stella, Bullet & Snowfox). Both Stacy and Kristen are lifelong musicians. The couple has each spent their entire careers making music apart, but it was the birth of their son that drove them to make music together. Following up on their 2015 debut LP ‘Magick Spells’ (Dine Alone) LA’s psych rockers Gateway Drugs is back with their sophomore LP “PSA,” featuring ten tracks to shake us all out of our collective stupor. In an exclusive interview, the band tells Foxes Mag that “PSA” is much more intimate and raw than our first album. All of the songs were recorded live for the most part.” They continued on about what it was like to have Sune Rose Wagner of The Raveonettes producing the LP, “It was an amazing element in itself to be able to work with someone we look up to musically. The song writing process was direct and quick, it took about 12 days to record the album in full. We were lucky to be able to record in Josh Hommes Pink Duck Studio which is like a little time capsule in the SFV”.
