Dan Edmonds: “Another Try”

The record’s newest single – “Another Try” – is an impressionistic pop track with layers of pulsing synths and treated vocals, setting a bright and enigmatic tone for the album. It’s a song about second chances that came to fruition after Edmonds rescued his dog from drowning.

Less than two weeks ago, Mexican DJ, producer, songwriter and viral sensation Raymix released the Deluxe Edition of his album Fake Lover, less than 24 hours after lighting up the stage at the 2019 Latin Music Awards, where he took the award for Best Album in the Regional Mexican category.

“‘Do You Ever?’ started as mumbles. I sang ‘do you ever wanna run away?’ over and over, and that’s all I had for a few months. At the time I was feeling very lost, stuck, and unsure of my place in the world,” shared Phil. “Modern life is confusing and weird, and I often question whether I should just go live in the middle of nowhere where stress and earthquakes won’t kill me. But then I write a song like this and remember that music and words are powerful, and running away isn’t the answer.”

argonaut&wasp Share “Go Getter”

Brooklyn-based duo, argonaut&wasp, have returned with a brand new single titled “Go Getter.” The track is out October 30th with +1 Records.

“This is one of those songs that started off as words scribbled on a napkin years ago. The lyrics were always there lingering in the back of our minds. The words that captured a long period of our creative journey, one full of self-doubt, uncertainty and the struggle to understand our place in the world. As we grew, standing by each other to push through the struggles, the song began to manifest into what it has become. This is our coming of age song and what a time to be able to share it with you.” – argonaut&wasp

“Voices (Feat. XXXTentacion)” – which features an interpolation of blink-182’s classic “I Miss You” – marks an extraordinary arrival for Skye. The Hollywood, FL-born, Los Angeles-based 19-year-old was among XXXTentacion’s closest friends, set to be the first artist signed to the late rapper’s Bad Vibes Forever label. Introduced by a mutual friend, the two like-minded artists quickly bonded in FL. They soon teamed up in the studio, creating extraordinary music that bridges both artists’ unique sounds and visionary approaches.

Jungle Boy – ‘Bond’

Emerging from the hip south west London scene, Jungle Boy (Jake) brings influences from classical piano, electronica and contemporary R&B together to create a truly distinctive alternative sound. New single Bond is perhaps the best listening to describe its uniqueness.

The song is about two people who ran away from their love to avoid heartbreak. It explores the feeling of losing some of your identity when a long-term partner leaves and the regret of leaving something you thought was special and even fate. This song tries to capture when a bond between two people was destructive and wrong but felt so right.
