London-based songwriter Belle Mt. recently released a music video for his new single “Origins.” Today, he shares a live performance video of the song beautifully shot in The Vineyard Church in Nashville, TN. The video begins with what appears to be a mere solo acoustic performance. But soon it expands to feature church organ played by Grammy award-winning producer Femke Weidema, group vocals from Jon Reynolds & The Aches, as well as light percussion, all filmed in one shot. This delicate blend of musical elements works perfectly to fill the cathedral’s resonant space, and adds up to a performance that is worthy of the resplendent surroundings.

Seattle’s Great Grandpa plays on Nov. 6th at Once! Their sophomore album ‘Four of Arrows’ is out Oct. 25th on Double Double Whammy

Stereogum names them a Band To Watch, saying the album “takes a hard left from the grunge-indebted indie rock of their 2017 debut, Plastic Cough, into an emotional world of tender orchestration and folk-bent anthems…like a mashup of Hop Along’s yearning guitars with Big Thief’s whisper-sung vocals.””

Ed Sheeran’s ‘Divide’ Tour Wraps, Sets All-Time Touring Record

Ed Sheeran’s record-smashing “Divide” tour concluded last night and Pollstar can officially confirm that it’s the highest-grossing tour of all time, reaching a staggering overall gross of $775.6 million from 8.9 million tickets sold on six continents. The previous record was U2’s 360 tour, which reached $735.3 over the span of two years.

This is a remarkable feat.”

Ann Marie Plays “Karma” Police in New Video!

RHEOSTATICS SHARE “VANCOUVER,” OPENING TRACK ON HERE COME THE WOLVES.

City of Glass, hall of mirrors: “Vancouver,” a swooping birds-eye view of a city constructed in memory and imagination, is the third cut from Rheostatics’ Here Come The Wolves out in advance of the album’s September 6 release date. The dizzying pacific cynic travelogue builds and flutters around Martin Tielli’s vocals, a hypnotic and delicately jittery opener to the band’s first new record in over a decade.

TENTS Share “Medicine” Video | ‘Medicine’ LP Out 10/11 On Badman Recording Co.

Portland-based band TENTS have shared the video for their title track single “Medicine”. The LP will be out 10/11 on Badman Recording Co.

TENTS is a surprising departure from Northwest based indie pop. The band, based in Portland Oregon, serves up neighborhood nostalgia with a slant. Melancholy is a theme, both musically and lyrically, but the music doesn’t dwell on pain. Thick harmonies and bouncy grooves float the listener towards jubilance.
