Today, Tor Miller returns with new single “Take Me Home (I’m Ready)” out now on Glassnote Records.
“The song is about growing discontentment with way my life has been unfolding. It’s another Friday night out binge drinking with my friends; the same bar I went to last week with all the same people. This song is about the night where all that resentment and frustration comes bubbling to the surface and I need to leave; find a way out of this cycle I’ve fallen into,” Tor Miller says of the new song.
Tor released his sophomore album Surviving the Suburbs, the follow up to his critically acclaimed debut American English, last year followed by a headline US tour. He has toured with distinguished artists such as James Bay, George Ezra and Aurora. During the last few years Tor has gone from gracing club stages as a solo pianist to stage front with a full band. He will headline Brooklyn’s Rough Trade on August 21st.
