YONA is a singer/songwriter and producer hailing from a small town in the north of England. She first appeared on Ash Koosha’s AKTUAL LP, a London producer (Ninja Tune, Olde English Spelling Bee, Realms) whom she met back in 2011.
He encouraged her to use her one-of-a-kind voice and lyrics that signifies her passion for art pop. Something that Yona had shied away from.
Recently after her “C” album was received positively and with her growing following, she is more than ever inclined to pursue her dream of becoming a pop artist.
