MIGUEL RELEASES SPANISH-LANGUAGE PROJECT ‘TE LO DIJE’ TODAY

“Crazy, I think I like these songs better in Spanish” – MIGUEL

GRAMMY Award-winning singer/songwriter, Miguel, drops his first ever Spanish-language project, Te Lo Dije – EP, today. It’s a compilation of 5 Spanish /Spanglish-language versions of his songs from his War & Leisure album, which earned two GRAMMY nominations for Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best R&B Song (“Come Through and Chill”).

This is a celebration of Miguel’s Latin heritage on his father’s side, who is Mexican-American. Te Lo Dije (Spanish for “told you so”) has a double meaning: it is the name of one of the songs, but it is also a proper “told you so” to his fans because he has been saying he would release a Spanish-language project.

Te Lo Dije is a perfect mixture of different Latin vibes to bring this new project to life. The EP features collaborations by Colombian-American artist, Kali Uchis; Mexican Mariachi girl band, Flor de Toloache; and Spanish rapper, C.Tangana. In addition, from Argentina, the singers/songwriters Dante Spinetta and Emmanuel Horvilleur collaborated on the EP, in charge of the Spanish adaptation for “Sky Walker”.
