Simon Lunche Announces Single “Cherry Wine”

The new soul pop single from Simon Lunche, “Cherry Wine,” smolders with the intoxicating aroma of a crackling fire melting away the winter’s bite. Its indulgent mix of silky smooth guitar licks and caramelized vocals is a hypnotizing dance between two enamored lovers. The romantic sway leans in slowly with an all-night longing gaze. “Cherry Wine” was mixed by multi-Grammy award winner Dave Reitzas, features bass by Sean Hurley (John Mayer), and back-up vocalists Tiffany Palmer (John Mayer) and Brandon Winbush (Patti Labelle, Tori Kelly).

GANG OF FOUR release new single “PAPER THIN” from upcoming album HAPPY NOW (out March 29)

Pioneering post-punk band, the GANG OF FOUR were formed by guitarist Andy Gill in the bricolage punk rock fallout culture of late seventies Leeds, UK – a place where art was a mirror and guitars were machine guns.

LAMB Provides “The Secret of Letting Go” on April 26th

The Secret of Letting Go is all about the space between sounds. From album opener “Phosphorus'” minimalist harmonics to the dying choral embers of “One Hand Clapping”; through the snaking sub-bass drops that drive the title track and “Moonshine” and into the whirl and spin of “Deep Delirium” and the simple piano loops that help “Imperial Measures” float above you, there’s space everywhere. Sometimes it’s evocative of sun-drenched horizons, at others it is contemplative, reflective; occasionally the space is itchy and anticipatory, pointing towards moments of ecstatic abandon. Throughout the record though, it’s the space that allows Lou Rhodes’ superlunary voice to glide and soar gloriously to bridge the silences in-between. It’s all of this together that makes The Secret of Letting Go such an utterly compelling return to form.

LUCIE SILVAS ANNOUNCES NEW SINGLE “BLACK JEANS”

Slipping into a soulful cadence on the track, the singer’s dusty delivery evoke sixties Southern California spirit by way of Nashville. A rustle of slide guitar punctuates delicate acoustic strumming as she croons, “When I’m wearing my black jeans, maybe you won’t even recognize me, and you know I won’t just take a backseat.” An album favorite, NPR claimed that it, “suspends temperate touches of Laurel Canyon-style psychedelia in a sublime cinematic haze… and depicts the numbed self-preservation required for a woman to pursue desirability.”

Pavo Pavo Share New Track “Check The Weather”

The band comment: “the video was directed by Charlotte/Charles Ercoli – we fell in love with her video for Ariel Pink & Weyes Blood’s “Tears of Fire” and wanted something for this track that similarly treads that line of touching and bizarre. She found this internet phenomenon of prosthetic dolphin masks, and had the idea to tell a classic plot-driven love story between two dolphins. Ideally we want it to look like some crap we found in a corner of the internet and sync’ed up with our song, but then when we make a cameo at the end it becomes clear that we made it – hoping the response is, “huh, that’s weird that they made this.”
