Today, Static & Ben El shared the official video for their first North American single, “Broke Ass Millionaire.“ View HERE. Released by S&B Entertainment Ventures LLC via Caroline last month, the track showcases Static & Ben El’s sharp sense of humor, with the duo poking fun at the disparity in their fame in Israel – where they are the biggest musical outfit ever – and the United States.
“It’s a song about feeling like we have everything because we’ve made it so big in Israel, but then in the States most people don’t know we exist yet,” Static explains. “So what does that makes us? We’re broke-ass millionaires.”
Co-vocalists Leeraz “Static” Rousseau and Ben El (Tavori) – together with producer Yarden “Jordi” Peleg – made their debut with the 2015 smash “Barbie.” They’ve since turned out a flood of viral hits, racking up over 350 million global combined streams and amassing more than one million followers on social media. Static & Ben El have played sold-out shows across Europe and were hand-picked by Justin Bieber to open his sold-out Tel-Aviv concert in May 2017, where they performed for a crowd of 60,000.
