MOOD Records Releases ‘Best of MOOD 2018’ Mixed by Carlo Ruetz
Revisiting some of the year’s biggest tracks in techno, Nicole Moudaber’s MOOD Records presents ‘Best of MOOD 2018,’ mixed by label favorite Carlo Ruetz. Available for digital download December 21 and featuring artwork from mixed media fine artist, Peter Max-Jakobsen, the release comes as only the second compilation from the MOOD Records imprint after surpassing a milestone 50 releases in 2017. Delivering the stomping four track ‘Stormer’ EP this past June — which saw plays from the likes of Adam Beyer and Anja Schneider — Nicole Moudaber taps fast rising star Carlo Ruetz for the label compilation. Highlighting MOOD Records original tracks from Fur Coat, POPOF, Stephan Hinz, and remixes for Moby, Nicole Moudaber and Carl Cox, the 12-track compilation represents the label’s leading take on dance music.

Rome Hero Foxes January Tour Just Announced!
Houston’s Rome Hero Foxes named their sophomore LP 18 Summers, but it more accurately describes the band’s beginnings. Shortly after graduating high school, the quintet was discovered in 2016 by Dance Gavin Dance’s Kurt Travis and released For When You’re Falling Backwards. As far as debuts go, its expanse melded the urgency of post-hardcore with an inward gaze offsetting any chaos. That introspection, bent over swirling guitars and mesmerizing vocal lines, led to reinvention. Instead of baring their teeth through arrangements that spiraled and warped, the band took a self-imposed journey into simpler territory. A pair of twin EPs, I/O and Horoscope, reset Rome Hero Foxes as a group indebted to surf rock and indie pop instead of gnarlier waves, with the latter predicting their shimmering follow-up. Enter the real 18 Summers.
A successful tour is much more than routing—it involves a ton of smart planning. Here are some pointers so you make the right moves before you load up the van.

Be the first to discover True Sleeper
The gloomy atmospheres seem a long time distant now, as his musical writing opens up embracing free harmonies and catchy melodies, hard to tag, while they move along the trail already traced by the late Flaming Lips, Glen Johnson’s Piano Magic and the most imaginative psych-pop.
New Release from TRAVIS SCOTT “SICKO MODE FT. DRAKE” On Sony Music Australia
If ASTROWORLD is Travis Scott’s amusement park, the Drake-assisted ‘SICKO MODE’ is one of the main attractions. Its three abrupt and overwhelming beat change-ups are like a rollercoaster that whips your neck and jabs your sides with sudden twists and turns. Travis recruited a team of producers (Hit-Boy, OZ, Cubeatz, and Tay Keith) to each bring their own distinct sound to the hectic track which debuted at #7 on the ARIA chart.

Josh Beech unveils new track ‘No Trouble’ 27.11.18
On the track Josh quotes: I’m really happy to finally share some new music, it feels like it’s been forever since I released any music under my own name and its felt weird not putting out any new songs for so long! No Trouble is my first solo release in over 3 years and it’s a slight departure from my normal solo material. There isn’t any folky guitar in No Trouble for a start and this song is also my first solo recordin that’s not so solo! No Trouble was a writing collaboration between myself, Brothers James & Joe Dzuris and Brent Kutzle (One Republic).
