Katie Garibaldi New Single “Safe and Warm (Lullaby for Jesus)”

Valley Queen release extended version of “Gems and Rubies”

“I wrote the song just as quickly in July 2016, after waking up to the video capture of the murder of Philando Castile, taken on a cell phone by his girlfriend, Diamond Reynolds, sitting in the passenger seat with Castile’s daughter in the back seat. After viewing, the song quickly followed, an impulsive response to an old, old problem that I couldn’t immediately fix. I would like to say I wrote the song for Castile, but more than anything, the song acted as a self soothing mechanism to witnessing his death and simultaneously, the system that caused it.”

Valley Lodge is basically the best rock band that you think you’ve never heard of, but that you already totally know. Valley Lodge is known for infusing their hook-saturated songs with a sense of humor – no surprise since they’re fronted by comedian Dave Hill – and although they are more famous in Japan than they are here in the States, that’s all about to change. The group’s new LP, ‘Fog Machine’, is a 14-track smorgasbord of unbelievably catchy tunes that will put you in its thrall and make you strut around the house doing Mick Jagger moves long after everyone else in the house is fast asleep.

SUNDRIFTER: Echoes And Dust Streams “Lightworker” From Boston Desert Rock Trio

Visitations is the latest full-length from New England-based desert rock trio SUNDRIFTER. Slated to drop October 19th via Small Stone Recordings, the space the nine-track record captures isn’t of the Hawkwind, pulsating rhythm variety, but instead one that oozes with planetary motion; one that rolls along a chaotic cosmic path, not at all afraid to smash one asteroid off another before crashing to the surface, which, as we all know, is how life began in the first place.

Exclusive Track Premiere: Sundrifter – Light Worker

Babyface Kaedo Swims in an Internet Money Soundscape on “Balenci”

A 17-year-old rhymer with charisma to spare, Babyface Kaedo is the ideal canvas for the creativity of the Internet Money production collective. Skillfully filling the negative space in a cavernous instrumental, Babyface Kaedo name-checks his favorite brand and roll-calls his best producers on “Balenci,” his latest single. Produced by JRHITMAKER and JoL’Z, “Balenci” is an absorbing and enveloping piece of ear-candy, adorned with droning bass, bouncing 808’s, swirling organ, and chiming bells. The young rapper is remarkably self-assured on his third-ever single release, dabbling with saccharine melodies as his voice betrays his obvious gratitude for escaping his hometown. “Balenci” follows “Pikachu,” produced by Internet Money’s beatmaking prodigy Nick Mira, best known for producing many of the tracks on Juice WRLD’s Goodbye & Good Riddance, including the Billboard Top 5 hit “Lucid Dreams,” and “No Fakin’,” released in June and produced by JRHITMAKER and Taz Taylor.
