TILE: Pennsylvania Noise Rock/Sludge Outfit Releases “Change The World” Video

Allentown, Pennsylvania-based noise rock/sludge trio TILE has released a new video for “Change The World,” which is found on the band’s new LP, Come On Home, Stranger. The LP was released earlier this month through Limited Appeal Records, and on the same day TILE kicked off an Eastern US tour supporting the album.

Venus and the Moon x Justin Raisen x Devo

Venus and the Moon (Rain Phoenix and Frally Hynes) covered Devo’s “Beautiful World” and it’s better than the original according to Devo’s Mark Mothersbaugh. Produced and recorded by Justin Raisen (Kim Gordon, Angel Olsen, Yves Tumor, Marissa Nadler) in Los Angeles the single is a reimagined synth-pop version of the subversive 80’s hit.

Lucy & La Mer is the LA-based indie project

Lucy & La Mer is the LA-based indie project of singer/songwriter Lucy LaForge. Known for her bright melodies and disarming lyrics, Lucy wrote her debut EP Little Spoon while living aboard a sailboat after a bad breakup. The folk pop EP charted on College Radio in 2015, followed by a national tour and 2 semi-finalist spots in the International Songwriter Contest.

After landing in LA, Lucy began performing live with a full band and caught the attention of major press like the LA Times. Lead by Lucy’s welcoming stage presence and unmistakable attire (the band wears colorful bowties and decorates the stage), their live shows have gained attention for their interactive audience participation and focus on community activism.

Fatherson share new video for ‘Charm School’

Fatherson today share the new video for Charm School, taken from their forthcoming album Sum Of All Your Parts out on September 14th.

The second track to be taken from the album, Charm School – first played on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 Show – is, according to the band, “An observation on having to mind your p’s and q’s all the time – and the need to jump through hoops for other people.
