Darian Reneé and Jskee Releases EDM Single “Just Imagine”

Boise, Idaho’s Darian Reneé is back with a new track after a long silence. This new track is a Future Bass single that is a collaboration with Utah based EDM producer Jskee. Since the track saw its release Friday on EDM JOy, the track has amassed over twelve thousand plays and continues to catch momentum.

“The best word I can think of to describe “Just Imagine” is fun! James and I got together one sunny day in Utah, we just caught up and talked about life. We showed each other a bunch of songs we were working on and musically we clicked. His brilliant brain came up with the production that would become this song. I went home to Idaho to finish the vocals; we knew we wanted to write a happy song. I’m quite the optimist and I wanted to try and pen my desires for love and life lyrically. Thus, “Just Imagine” was born.” – Darian Reneé

“The songs are about being lonely,” Swamp Dogg says of Love, Loss, And AutoTune. While Auto-Tune has become a fixture of the modern pop music landscape, this is Swamp Dogg’s first major exploration of the device. “Every time I listen to some new music that everybody thinks is the greatest thing since hot biscuits, it’s full of Auto-Tune,” Swamp Dogg says. Like Kanye West on 808s & Heartbreak, Swamp Dogg utilizes the cold digital tone of Auto-Tune to convey a sense of emotional detachment during the album’s most anguished moments. Olson adds a range of inventive synth sounds and drum machines to Swamp Dogg’s sonic palette, as well as an impressively artful approach to arranging Swamp’s compositions. The result is a wildly fresh take on the classic Swamp Dogg sound. Swamp Dogg agrees, “I was knocked out by what I heard. I couldn’t believe it was me. It’s some of the greatest and outrageous music I’ve ever heard come out of the Swamp Dogg.”
