R&B CHANTEUSE PORCELAN RELEASES THE LYRIC VIDEO TO HER TOP 40 NEW SINGLE, “LOIS LANE”
The beautiful ballad is based on the comic book character, “Lois Lane” who’s beau is no one other than Superman. The song was written by DeNarious Holmes and produced by Hamilton Hardin. “Every woman wants a strong man in their lives that makes them feel secure,” mentions Porcelan. “The ideal fancy is to be swept off your feet and protected by a strong man who will rescue you from anything that can bring you harm, and Superman’s love for Lois Lane, symbolizes that,” she adds.
Today we are excited to announce “Backwards”, the new single from Los Angeles synthpop trio Cannons. The group have been kicking around LA for several years, and built an impressive fan base off only their own hardwork and the strength of their hooks. LA Weekly just premiered the song, describing it as “a blend of early MGMT, Grimes and even Toro y Moi”. We 100% agree, and think this new set of songs is their strongest work yet.

The track is intentional and minimalistic, with Cody Moser’s glacial guitars and slippery bass lines setting the mood for Evan Baker’s smokey vocal.
Most albums of modern folk songs don’t have a backstory involving a 1930s celebrity golfer robbing a Japanese immigrant. But most albums of modern folk songs also don’t incorporate the textures of German electronic experimentalism or doom metal.
