New Film: Digging for Weldon Irvine
A feature length documentary being produced about the legendary Weldon J. Irvine, Jr. Digging for Weldon Irvine is directed by Victorious De Costa and Executive Produced by Joe ‘G-Clef’ Cavaseno. the film, which began development in 2015, is currently in post production and is reaching out to the Jazz ocmmunity for assistance with its completion.
The film promises to be choc-full of Weldon’s collaborators, mentees, family and close friends. Lenny White, Billy Cobham, Samuel Waymon and Gene Perla to name a few.
ARY release debut album ‘Drowning Inside’
The seven track LP include their previously released singles “I Think It’s You” and “Anymore” – which have launched an exponential growth in the band’s social following, recently peaking at nearly 5,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, with ARY amassing over 200 thousand global streams to date.
ARY spared no creativity in order to fit in a specific genre. Self-releasing the album also gave them the freedom to push boundaries and write music in a truly honest fashion.

Un groupe de Rock à l’énergie électrique », c’est ce que titrait déjà la presse locale à propos de The Defigurheads dès ses débuts. Il faut dire que ce qui caractérise le groupe, c’est l’énergie qu’il déploie sur scène, avec seulement trois musiciens.
Avec la sortie du premier EP autoproduit, fin 2014, The Defigurheads annonce la couleur avec un son puissant, organique et vivant. Ce disque rappelle le son Rock des années 70 tels que Led Zeppelin, Queen ou The Who. Mais il contient aussi une nouvelle vibe et un côté psychédélique avec la chanson « Yuri’s Got A Dream » qui est aussi le titre de l’EP et qui annonce alors déjà un côté rêveur et cosmique pour le groupe.
